The first Storywalk, 'Bear Hunters' is inspired by Were Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury, ISBN 978-0-7445-2323-2. This book was described by The Independent on Sunday as a dramatic and comic masterpiece.... Beautifully produced, written and illustrated, this is a classic. The kids at Callands love it.

'Storywalks' is a 'My 153 Mile Challenge' Event. The event is a charity fundraising kids activity organised by Barbara Starkey and Angela Taylor. Barbara and Angela are mum and daughter and work at Callands Children's Centre. The lead fundraiser for this event is Barbara Starkey. Barbara is one of only 5 people to fully complete the original 153 Mile Challenge in September 2009. By sponsoring Barbara you will be raising money for the nominated charities.
The 153 Mile Challenge is operated by Tyrer Sorrel. The 153 Mile Challenge is a Social Enterprise, Signature Sponsorship and Event Scheme developed as a joint venture with the charities and delivered by Tyrer Sorrel, as part of www.tssignature.co.uk (Twenty Charities).
Solicitation Statement: Tyrer Sorrel receive a payment for this event. Example: On a sponsorship worth £20 Tyrer Sorrel receives £4.59 (including payment processing costs) and the nominated charities receive £15.41.
The 153 Mile Challenge is a voluntary participation event. This basically means that you participate in the challenge of your own free will, on a voluntary basis and with no compulsion or duress. By participating in the challenge you agree to the full terms and conditions of Tyrer Sorrel, additional terms stated below and grant a waiver of liability and assumption of risk to Tyrer Sorrel, its Sponsors and Principal Associates.
